వాడుకపదాల్ని కాపాడుకుందాం... కదలిరండి

సోదర సోదరీమణులారా... తెలుగు వాడకాన్ని ఇతోధికంగా పెంచి భాషాభివృద్ధి
జరపాలన్నది మన అతి ముఖ్యమైన లక్ష్యం. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి మనమంతా రోజువారీగా
అధ్యయనం జరిపి దఖలుపరిస్తే బాగుంటుందని నా ఉద్దేశ్యం. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి
నాకు తోచిన కొన్ని ఆలోచనల్ని మీతో పంచుకుంటాను.

అసలు తెలుగు పదమంటూ లేకుండా నేరుగా ఆంగ్లంలో వాడుతున్న పదాల్ని గుర్తించి
వాటికి తెలుగు పదాల్ని రూపొందించాలి. ఉదాహరణకు... petrol, Kirosene, gas,
governor, SP, Police, Computer, bus stand, cassettee, Channel,
Incoming Call, Marks, Licence... లాంటివి. వీటిలో కొన్నిటికి
ఒకప్పుడేమైనా తెలుగు పదాలున్నాయేమో నాకు తెలీదు కానీ ప్రస్తుతం వీటిని
ఉదాహరణకోసం తీసుకున్నాను. ఇలాంటివి కోకొల్లలు. పై పదాలలో చాలావాటికి
తమిళ, కన్నడ, హిందీ భాషల్లో అనువాదాలున్నాయి.

Petrol, Kirosine Computer, bus, Marks, cassettee, bomb, Channel లాంటి
పదాలు జనంలో నరనరానా ఆంగ్లంలోనే జీర్ణించుకుపోయాయి... వాటికి తెలుగు
అనువాదం చేస్తామంటున్నారు మీకేమైనా పిచ్చా అని నన్ను అనొచ్చుగాక... మరి
మన పక్కనున్న తమిళనాడులో వీటన్నిటికీ ప్రసారమాధ్యమాల్లో తమిళభాషలోనే
వాడుతున్నారు. వాళ్ళకి పిచ్చి అనుకుంటే... నేనూ పిచ్చోణ్ణే. వాళ్ళు
వీటన్నిటికీ అనువాదాలు చేసుకుని, వాడుకలో ఉంచుకుని భాషను
కాపాడుకుంటున్నారు. పై పదాలకు కల్ఎణ్ణ, మన్నెణ్ణ, గణిని, పేరుందు,
మదిప్పెణ్, ఒళినాడా, వెడి గుండు, వాహిని (చివరి పదం కన్నడం) అనే
అనువాదాలున్నాయి.

తమిళనాడులో శాస్త్రసాంకేతిక పట్టభద్ర, ఉన్నత విద్యల్ని (వైద్యం లాంటి
విజ్ఞానశాస్త్రాలు) తమిళంలోనే బోధించేందుకు ప్రస్తుతం తమిళనాడు ప్రభుత్వం
కార్యాచరణ ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధం చేస్తోంది. న్యాయవ్యవస్థలో తీర్పులు, వాదనలు
తమిళంలో జరగాలని బద్ధశత్రువులైన కరుణానిధి, జయలలిత వర్గాల ఎంపీలంతా
పార్లమెంట్‌లో (తమిళంలో పారాళుమన్రం) రెండు నెలల కిందట కలసికట్టుగా గొడవ
చేశారు. వాళ్ళంతా వెర్రోళ్ళయితే నేనూ వెర్రోణ్ణే... Auditor, Inspector,
SI, SP లాంటి వాటికి హిందీ ప్రసార మాధ్యమాలు వాటి అనువాదాల్ని
వాడుతున్నాయి. మీరూ గమనించవచ్చు. గతంలో Telescopeకి దుర్భిణి,
Microscopeకి సూక్ష్మదర్శిని అనే పదాన్ని మనం విజ్ఞానశాస్త్రంలో
వాడేవాళ్ళం. మీకు గుర్తుండే ఉంటుంది. ఇప్పుడు ఈ పదాల రూపకల్పన ప్రక్రియ
ఆగిపోయి నేరుగా ఆంగ్ల పదాల వాడకం వచ్చేసింది. అందువల్ల మనం పదాల
రూపకల్పనపై దృష్టి సారించాలి.

ఉన్న కష్టతరమైన అనువాదాల్ని సరళీకరించాలి... రైలు బండికి గతంలో ధూమశకట...
అనే పొడవాటి అనువాదం చేశారు. దీనిని సరళీకరిస్తూ బద్దల బండి అనో లేక
బద్దీ బండి అంటే బాగుంటుందేమో... (Busకి అనువాదమే లేదు) Lorryని
తొట్టిబండి అనొచ్చు, Carని చిన్నబండి లేదా పొట్టిబండి లేదా పెట్టె బండి
అనొచ్చు. Cycleకి తొక్కుడుబండి అని పేరుపెట్టొచ్చు. ఇవే ఉండాలని లేదు.
All India Radio సంస్థకు ఆకాశవాణి అనే పేరుంది. Radioకు, FM Radio
అనువాదం లేదు. కనుక మనం కొత్త పదాల సృష్టిపై దృష్టి పెట్టాలి.

ఒకప్పుడు అనువాదాలుండీ.. నేడు వాడకమే లేకపోయినవాటిపై కన్నేసి ఉంచాలి...
ఉదాహరణకు పాత సినిమాల్లో పేర్లు పడేటప్పుడు మీరు చూస్తే... Recordingకి
ధ్వని ముద్రణ, శబ్దగ్రహణం, Cameraman ఛాయాగ్రాహకుడు... ఇలాగే
నృత్యదర్శకుడు, అలంకారం, కేశాలంకరణ లాంటి పదాలు తెరపై కనిపించేవి.
ఇలాంటివి సేకరించాలి. ఇలాంటివి ఉన్నట్లు ఈ తరంలో చాలామందికి తెలియనే
తెలియదు..

ఇక ఈ తరంవాళ్లకు తెలిసినవీ... కళ్ళముందే కనుమరుగవుతున్న పదాలపైనా దృష్టి
సారించాలి... ఉదాహరణకు తెర... బదులు Screen, వైద్యుడు/రాలు బదులు Doctor,
కాగితం బదులు Paper, దూరవాణి బదులు Telephone, ఆగండి లేదా ఎదురు చూడండి
అనడానికి బదులు wait చెయ్యండి అంటున్నారు. దూరదర్శిని TVగా, నిస్తంత్రీ
Wirelessగా, పిండిమర Flour Millగా, ప్రభుత్వం Governmentగా మారిపోయాయి.
అంటే ఈ పదాలన్నిటికి తెలుగు అనువాదాలున్నాయని చాలామందికి తెలిసీ వాటికి
బదులు ఆంగ్లమే వాడుతున్నారు. క్రమంగా ఈ తెలుగు పదాల వాడకమే పోయి వీటికీ
ముందు చెప్పిన పదాల గతే పడుతుంది. ఇలా జరగకుండా ఆపాలి.

ఏదైనా ఒక పదానికి మన తెలుగులో అనువాదం చేసుకోవడం అత్యంత కష్టసాధ్యం
అనుకున్నప్పుడు, మన ఇరుగు పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాల భాషలు, సంస్కృతం పరిశీలించి
కొత్త పదాన్ని సిద్ధం చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితి ఎప్పుడోగాని
రాదనుకుంటాను.

ఇక మరికొన్ని పదాల్ని పత్రికల్లోనే చూస్తాం గానీ వాడకంలో ఆంగ్లానికి
వెళుతుంటాం... ఉదాహరణకు మనం కరెంట్ అంటాం.. పత్రికలో విద్యుత్ అని
వాడతారు. ఈనాడు పత్రికలో Fileని దస్త్రం అని, Spectrumని విద్యుదయస్కాంత
తరంగం అంటున్నారు. వీటిని మనం గమనించి దఖలుపరచుకోవాలి. ఒక Database
నిర్వహించాలి. ఈ అధ్యయనానికి సంబంధించి మనకు వనరులుగా... దూరదర్శిని,
పత్రికల్లో వచ్చే శీర్షికలు, మన సన్నిహితులతో జరిపే సంభాషణలు
ఉపయోగపడతాయి. ఈ ప్రక్రియకు సంబంధించి మన "తెలుగుపదం' గుంపులో మరింత
సమన్వయం కావాలి.

మనం ఈ విషయంలో కొంత ప్రయాణం సాగించిన తర్వాత కొన్ని పదాలు తీసుకుని
కరపత్రాలుగా రూపొందించి జనంలోకి పంపే ప్రయత్నం చెయ్యాలి. తమిళనాడులోని
పిఎంకె పార్టీవారు ఇలాగే చేస్తున్నారు. కొత్తగా వచ్చే ఆంగ్లపదాలకు తమిళ
అనువాదాల్ని రూపొందించి బస్టాండ్ల వద్ద ఫ్లెక్సీ బోర్డులు పెడుతుంటారు,
కరపత్రాలు పంచుతుంటారు. పాఠశాలలకెళ్ళి విద్యార్థులకు వివరిస్తుంటారు...

కనుక సోదర సోదరీమణులారా... ఈ నా అభిప్రాయంపై మీ అభిప్రాయాలు
తెలుసుకోగోరుతున్నాను. పై ప్రక్రియను కార్యాచరణలో పెట్టాలని
కోరుకుంటున్నాను. సవరణలు, విమర్శలను ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాను. పైన వివరించిన
దానిలో తప్పులేమైనా ఉంటే మన్నించగోరుతున్నాను.

ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో జారిపోతున్న మరికొన్ని పదాలుగా అన్నం... సమయం... బల్ల..
విందు అనేవి. అన్నం కావాలి అనడం మానేసి rice కావాలంటున్నారు. గంట
ఎంతయింది అనకుండా time ఎంత అంటున్నారు. బల్ల అనడం మానేసి tableను
తెచ్చారు. విందు అని ఎవరూ అనడంలేదు. party అట.

ఇక కొత్తగా వచ్చినవి అంతగా వాడనివి చూస్తే... timetableని కొన్ని
పత్రికల్లో సమయసారణి అని వాడారు. Appointmentకి తెలుగు పదమే లేదు. (వారి
"సమయం" దొరకలేదు అనొచ్చేమో...). పత్రికల్లో శాసనసభ కనిపిస్తుంది...
వాడుకలో Assemblyగానే ఉంది..., సభాపతి కూడా పత్రికలోనే కనిపిస్తారు...
జనం పలికేది speaker.

వ్యాఖ్యానం పోయింది... comment please అట. ప్రాంగణం, ఆవరణల్ని campus
ఆక్రమించింది. సీసా bottleలోకి వెళ్ళిపోయింది. చిల్లరను change చేసేశారు.
వైఖరి, ధోరణి, తీరు ఉపయోగించని attitude మారాలి. దుకాణం shop అయ్యింది.
కుంభకోణం కనిపించకుండా scam చేశారు. please... దయచేసి కాదట. నొక్కుటను
Press చేశారు. మీట పోయి Switch / Button వచ్చాయి. మైదానం stadiumలోకి
వెళ్ళిపోయింది. పాత్రికేయులు, విలేఖర్లు journalistలయ్యారు.

ఆ మధ్య మరికొన్ని కొత్త ప్రయోగాలు చూశానండోయ్... గ్రామాలు కాదు గ్రామంలు,
పుస్తకాలు కాదు పుస్తకంలు... వాడుక పదాల్నే కాదు వాడుకనే మార్చే పండితులు
పుట్టుకొచ్చారు...

అభిప్రాయం చెప్పండి బాబూ అంటే opinion చెబుతామంటున్నారు. ఆసుపత్రికి
మానేసి hospitalకు వెళుతున్నారు. మంచం పక్కనపెట్టి bed ఎక్కుతున్నారు.
కంచంలో తినడంలేదు plate తెచ్చుకున్నారు. చెంచా వద్దట spoon వాడకం
పెరిగింది (కనీసం రాజకీయ తమ విమర్శల్లో "చెంచా"గిరి అనే పదబంధం
వాడుతున్నారు. ఆ రకంగా "చెంచా"ను గుర్తుంచుకున్నారు...) పుస్తకాన్ని
ఏనాడో book చేసేశారు. (పత్రికల్లో "కొత్త పుస్తకాలు" అనే శీర్షికలో
మాత్రం పుస్తకాలు కనిపిస్తాయి). ఇంద్రధనుస్సులోని రంగులు rainbowలోకి
వెళ్ళిపోయాయి. ఎంతపెద్ద light, కావలినంత lighting ఉన్నా దీపం,
వెలుతురు.... కనిపించడంలేదు... అర కాస్తా rackలోకి వెళ్ళింది. యంత్రాన్ని
machine, engineగా మార్చారు. ఇంధనం పత్రికకే పరిమితం... జనానికి అది
fuel. బాటలు, రహదార్ల మీద కొత్త Roadలు వేశారు. టపా, తపాలాను post
చేసేశారు. (మన blogలలో టపా ఉంది లెండి). ఈ మధ్యకాలంలో నీరు ఎండిపోయి
water వస్తోంది. మూత, టోపీ మీద cap వేశారు.... Revenue మంత్రి పదంలో
Revenueకి తెలుగే లేదు.

తాజా పరిణామాన్ని గమనిస్తే... తెలుగు భాషలోని రంగులన్నీ వెలిసిపోతున్నాయి
colours కళకళలాడుతున్నాయి. ఆధునిక మహిళలకు ఆకుపచ్చ చీరలు, ఎర్ర గులాబీలు
వద్దట... green sarees, red roses మాత్రమే కావాలట. ఈ రెండే కాదండోయ్
మిగిలిన రంగుల పరిస్థితీ అంతే. ఈ తరం తెలుగు జంతువులన్నీ
చచ్చిపోతున్నాయి. పెద్దలంతా పులులు, కుక్కలు, ఒంటెలు, ఏనుగుల్ని
మింగేశారు. అవి పిల్లల నోళ్ళలోంచి tigers, dogs, camels, elephantsగా
వస్తున్నాయి. కొన్నాళ్ళు పోతే తెలుగు జంతువులు చచ్చి ఆంగ్ల జంతువులే
బతికుంటాయి.

గతంలో Gas (వంటగాలి) అనే పదాన్ని ఆంగ్లంలోనే వాడినా Cylinderను బండ
అనేవారు. దీని బండ బడా అనుకున్నారో ఏమో మన తెలుగు జనం... దానిని
గుదిబండగా భావించి Cylinderను తెచ్చుకున్నారు. నాకు గుర్తొస్తున్న మరొక
పదం నిఘంటువు... అది ప్రస్తుతానికి తెలుగు dictionaryలో దాక్కునుంది. అదే
విధంగా ప్రజలు కలం వద్దంటున్నారు... వారికి Pen కావాలట. ఇక Pencilకు
తెలుగు పదమే లేదు కనుక ఏ గొడవలేదనుకుందాం.

ఇంగ్లీష్ Railనే తెలుగువారు రైలు చేశారు. వాడుక వేరుగా ఉన్నదంటే అప్పట్లో
ఆ భాషను అర్థం చేసుకున్న తీరు అది. అలా చూసుకుంటే మన దృష్టిలో Rail
(పట్టా, రైలుబండి) , Train (రైలు బండి) ని పరిశీలిద్దాం... రైలు బండి
అంటే rail (పట్టా) మీద వెళ్ళే బండి అనేగా అర్థం. అంటే పట్టాబండి అని
తెలుగులో పూర్తిగా చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. అప్పటివాళ్ళు సగం ఇంగ్లీష్ సగం తెలుగు
కలిపి railu బండి చేశారు. అంత మాత్రం చేత Rail తెలుగు పదం ఎలా
అవుతుంది... ఏదో కొన్నేళ్ళ బట్టీ అదే అర్థంలో జనం వాడుతున్నంత మాత్రాన పర
భాషా పదాలన్నీ తెలుగు పదాలు అయిపోతే... బస్సు, పెన్ను (కలం), పేపరు
(కాగితం), షర్టు (చొక్కా) , ఫ్యాంటు (పంట్లాం), ప్లేటు (పళ్ళెం), స్పూను
(చెంచా), స్పీకరు, మైకు.. ఇలా అన్నీ తెలుగు పదాలే అయిపోతాయి. దీర్ఘకాల
వాడుక మాత్రం చేత పర భాషా పదాలు స్థానిక భాషా పదాలైపోతాయనే విశ్లేషణను
అంగీకరిస్తే ఇప్పుడున్న తెంగ్లీష్ (తెలుగు, ఆంగ్ల కలబోత బాష) ను రాబోయే
రోజుల్లో అసలైన తెలుగు భాషగా (ఎక్కువ మంది మాట్లాడుతున్నందున)
పరిగణించవచ్చు కదా. పైన నేను చెప్పిన పదాలన్నటికీ తమిళంలో, హిందీలో,
కన్నడంలో స్థానిక భాషల అనువాదాలు చేసుకుని ప్రసార, ప్రచురణ మాధ్యమాల్లో
వాడుతున్నారు. ఈ పద సృష్టి ప్రక్రియను మనం కొన్ని దశాబ్దాల కిందటే
అటకెక్కించేసి సదరు ఇంగ్లీష్ పదాలన్నీ జనం వాడుతున్నందున అవి తెలుగు
పదాలే అనుకుంటే ఇక ఈ భాషా వ్యాప్తి, చర్చలు, మాతృభాష అనే మాటలకు అర్థమే
ఉండదు. బిల్లు విషయంలో కూడా దానికి తెలుగు పదం సృష్టించుకోవాలి లేదా
గతంలో మరేదైనా పదం వాడుకలో ఉండి ఉంటే పెద్దల నుంచి తెలుసుకుని
పునర్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలి. అన్నిటికీ తెలుగు అనువాదాలా అంటే... మరి మన
పక్క రాష్ట్రంలోను, హిందీ, కన్నడ భాషల్లో అదే జరుగుతోంది. జపాన్, చైనా,
జర్మనీ ఇంకా ఐరోపా భాషల్లో ప్రతి పరభాషా పదాన్నీ వారి భాషల్లో
అనువదించుకుంటారు, వాడుకుంటారు. అలా జరిగితేనే ఒక భాష ఉనికిలో ఉంటుంది.
దీనిని చాదస్తంగా భావిస్తే చేసేదేమీ లేదు.ఇలా చేసుకోకపోతే మన భాషలోని
పదాలు రాన్రానూ రాలిపోతాయి. చాలా దేశాల ప్రజలకు ఆంగ్లం తెలీదని
గ్రహించండి. ఇటలీ, జర్మనీ లాంటి దేశాల్లో ఈ పరిస్థితి ఉంది. కొత్త పదాలు
సృష్టిద్దాం. ఇదేమి అనువాదం ఇలా ఉందీ అంటూ వెక్కిరించొద్దు. వాడేందుకు
నామోషీ వద్దు, సిగ్గుపడొద్దు. అంతా కలసి ఒక చక్కని ప్రయత్నం చేద్దాం..

జూలై 22,1925న గూడూరులో జన్మించిన దాశరథి తెలుగుజాతి చరిత్రలో ఓ మహోన్నత వ్యక్తి..

మహిళల పాలిట యాదవత్రయం దుష్టత్రయమైంది..

అసలీ పాలకులు ఏంచేస్తున్నారు,,
ఎందుకీ హైడ్రామ,,

గీత వ్యథ..

ఎక్కడో దూరంగా గీత వినిపిస్తోంది.వాసాంవి జీర్ణాని యథా విహాయా.. నవాని గృహ్ణాతి నరోపరాణి. అంటూ ఘంటశాల స్వర మాధుర్యం అహ్లాదంగా ఆకర్షిస్తోంది. ఏదైనా ఆధ్యాత్మిక కార్యక్రమమేమోనని ఆ వైపుగా వెళ్లాను. కనిపించిన దృశ్యం సాధారణంగా నేటి పరిస్థితుల ప్రభావమే కావచ్చు. కానీ ఎందుకో గుండె కలిచివేసినట్లైంది. అసలు మనమెక్కడ ఉన్నాం. గీతాచార్యుడు ప్రబోధించిందేమిటి, మనం చేస్తున్నదేమిటి.
ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా మేనేజ్మెంట్(management) రంగానికి ఓ ఆదిగ్రంధంలా విలసిల్లుతున్న భగవద్గీత నేడు విషాదగీతమైందని గుండె క్షోభపడింది.

భగవద్గీత ఆవిర్భవించిన రోజు.
విశేషమేంటంటే భగవద్గీతకు మూలమైన శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు,అర్జునుడు,మార్గశిరమాసం,వ్యాసుడు వీళ్లంతా విష్ణు రూపాలే..
రామాయణాన్ని నారదుడు వాల్మీకికి చెప్పాడు, భారతాన్ని వైశంపాయనుడు జనమేజయుడికి చెప్పాడు, భాగవతాన్ని శుకుడు పరీక్షిత్తుకు చెప్పాడు.
కానీ.. భగవానుడైన నారాయణుడే స్వయంగా అర్జునునికి ప్రబోధించిందే భగవద్గీత. భగవతా నారయణేన స్వయం..
ఇదీ భగవద్గీతకున్న ప్రథమ ప్రశస్తి.

గీత కేవలం పారాయణ గ్రంథం కాదు..ఆచరణ గ్రంథం కూడా.
లౌకికమైన సామాజిక జీవితంలో , పారలౌకికమైన ఆధ్యాత్మిక జీవితంలో మనం లబ్ధి పొందడానికి అనేక మార్గాలను చూపిన గ్రంథమది.
ఎందరో మహానుభావులకు మార్గదర్శకమైంది గీత.
మహాత్మాగాంధి తన అహింసా సిద్ధాంతానికి ప్రేరణ గీతేనని చెప్పారు. స్వామి వివేకానంద, చైతన్యప్రభు వంటివాళ్లె కాదు..
ఐన్ స్టీన్ వంటి విదేశీయులు సైతం గీతతో ప్రేరణ పొందినవారే.
మహాభారతంలోని భీష్మ పర్వంలో 25వ అధ్యాయం మొదలుకొని 42వ అధ్యాయం వరకు ఉన్న 18 అధ్యాయాలు భగవద్గీతగా ప్రశస్తికెక్కాయి.
పేరుకు భారత అంతర్భాగమే ఐనా భగవద్గీత సర్వ స్వతంత్రమైన ప్రత్యేక గ్రంథం. తన బంధు మిత్రులపై యుద్ధం చేయనని అర్జునుడు భీష్మించినపుడు అతనికి కర్తవ్య బోధ చేస్తూ జగద్గురువైన శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు చెప్పిందే భగవద్గీత. జీవన యుద్ధ రంగంలో మన పాత్ర కర్తవ్యాన్ని భగవంతుడు బోధిస్తే ముగిసిపోయిన జీవితం గురించి నిర్వేదాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేయడానికి గీతను వాడుతున్నాం.
చనిపోయిన వారి కోసం ఏడ్చే ఓపిక లేక ప్రత్యామ్నాయమైంది గీత.భగవద్గీత నేడు అంత్యక్రియలకు నేపథ్య సంగీతంలా మారిపోయింది.ఎక్కడ గీత వినిపించినా అక్కడ ఎవరో ఒకరు చనిపోయి ఉంటారనే అభిప్రాయం ఆధునిక తెలుగువాడిలో బలపడింది.

ఉగ్రవాదుల మూణ్నాళ్ల ముచ్చట..విధివంచితుల పాలిట మూడు నిశిరాత్రులైనాయి.
166 మందికి శాశ్వత నిద్ర ఐంది.
లష్కరే పేరిట పెల్లుబికిన ఉగ్రధ్వంసం..
ముంబైలో సృష్టించిన మారణ కాండకు సరిగ్గా ఏడాది.

26/11..దోషులను శిక్షించడంలో ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైంది
పాలకుల నిర్లక్ష్యం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.
ఇదేదో ఆనందంగా జరుపుకోవలసిన దినం కాదు.
ప్రతీ భారతీయుడు తనను తాను ప్రశ్నించుకునే తరుణం..
దేశ వాణిజ్య రాజధానిపై విరుచుకుపడిన ఉగ్రవాద పెనుభూతపు మచ్చలను తుదిపేసినా .. ఆ బాధాస్మృతులను ఎలా మరిచేది.?

9/11 అమెరికా దాడులతో ఈ దాడిని పోల్చినా ..
అమెరికన్లలో కనిపించిన స్పూర్థి మనలో కనిపించదేం.
26/11 గా దాడులను వర్ణించినా ..
దాడులకు కారకులైన వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవడంలో ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైనట్లేనా..?
ఒకవేళ ప్రభుత్వం తన బాధ్యతను విస్మరిస్తే మిగిలిన ప్రజాస్వామ్య పాదాలు(చట్టం, న్యాయం, మీడీ) ఏంచేస్తున్నాయి..?
ముంబై దారుణకాండలో ప్రత్యక్షంగా పాల్గొని సజీవంగా దొరికిన కసబ్ విషయంలో ఇంత తాత్సారం దేనికి..?
అమెరికన్ల మాదిరి మన సరిహద్దులు పటిష్ట పరుచుకోలేమా..?
సహనానికి మారుపేరైన భారతావని తన విద్యుక్త ధర్మాన్ని మరిచిపోతుందా,,
ముష్కర పాకిస్తాన్ ఎత్తుగడలను తిప్పికొట్టలేదా..
ఈ ప్రశ్నలన్ని ఓ సగటు భారతీయుడిని సంవత్సరకాలంగా వేధిస్తున్నాయి.

కసబ్ ను శిక్షించడం కాకుండా అతన్ని ఒక హీరో మాదిరి వార్తల్లో ప్రముఖంగా చూపిస్తుంటె ప్రతీ ఒక్క భారతీయుడి ఒళ్ళు మండిపొతోంది.
మొదట కసబ్ ను శిక్షిస్తే తప్ప ముంబై దాడుల్లో ప్రాణాలు కొల్పోయిన వారి ఆత్మ శాంతించదు.
పాలక, ప్రతిపక్షాలు దేశ రక్షణ విషయంలో ఏకం కావాలి.
ఎదైనా పోటీ ఉంటే అది దేశ అంతర్గతంగా జరిగేది..
పక్కవాడు మనమీద దాడి చేసినప్పుడు కూడా రాజకీయం చేస్తే అంతకు మించిన మూర్ఖత్వం ఇంకోటి లేదు.
అందుకే భా జా పా కు ఎన్నికల్లో చుక్కెదురైంది.
పనికిమాలిన విషయాలపై గంటలు గంటలు చర్చించే మన నేతలు దేశాన్ని ఉగ్రవాద దాడుల నుంచి కాపాడే విషయంలో మరింతగా చొరవ తీసుకొని కలిసికట్టుగా ముందడుగు వేయాలి.
ఇకనైనా ఉగ్రవాదం బారినుంచి భారతావనిని కాపాడేందుకు మనవంతుగా పోరాడుదాం.

బోసి నవ్వుల పాపాయి .. బుడిబుడి నడతల బుజ్జాయి.. చిలకపలుకుల చిన్నారి.. వీరంతా పర్సనాలిటీ గురువులు.. పాపాయి బోసినవ్వులో ఎన్ని అర్థాలో,, నిష్కల్మషంగా ఉండే ఆ నవ్వుకు ఎన్ని పరమార్థాలో,, హఠాత్తుగా ఏడ్చినా .. ఇంతలోనే నవ్వేస్తారు,, అమ్మ కోప్పడినా .. నాన్న గారాబం చేసినా,, అన్నీ నవ్వుతూనే అహ్వానిస్తారు,,

అందుకే జీవితంలో అనుభవించే కష్టాలకు పాపాయి నవ్వే ఓ మందు. నడక రాకున్నా నడవడానికి బుజ్జాయి చేసే ప్రయత్నం.. నవ్వు తెప్పించినా అదో నిత్య నూతన సూత్రం,, పరుగెడుతూ.. పడిపోతూ.. దెబ్బలతాకిడికి విలవిల్లాడుతూ.. ఐనా సరే,, అనుకున్న లక్ష్యాన్ని సాధిస్తారు,, ఒకవైపు నడుస్తూనే లోకమంతా చుట్టేస్తారు.. జీవితంలో ఎదురయ్యే ఒడిదొడుకులను కూడా అలాగే ఎదుర్కొని లక్ష్య సాధనకు కృషి చేయమంటారు..

ఇప్పుడంతా భాషా సమస్య.. ఎక్కడ చూసినా భాషా గొడవే.. అసలు అమ్మ భాషను మించిన భాషేముంది,, కానీ.. చిన్నారులు తమ చిలకపలుకుల్లోనే.. భాషా మాధుర్యాన్ని రుచి చూపిస్తారు,, అంతే కాదు,, చిన్న వయసులోనే వ్యాకరణమంతా నేర్చుకొని .. పెద్దవారీకి మార్గనిర్దేశనం చేస్తారు. తల్లి భాషకు తెలియని వయసులోనే పట్టం కట్టి,, తెలిసే వయసులో పెద్దల మాటలకు తలొగ్గే దీనస్థితి..?

బాలవాక్కు బ్రహ్మ వాక్కంటారు కదా.. అందుకే బాలల చేష్టలు గురుముఖాలు,, అందుకే వాటిని అనుసరించి ఆచరిస్తే,, జీవితమంతా నవ్వులేనవ్వులు..

ఎందుకో నా మదిని ఇన్ని ఆవేదనలు..? చేసే ప్రతీ ఉద్యోగంలో ఎదో ఒక వెలితి,, ఇంతకూ లోపం నాలోనా..? పని చేసే విధానంలోనా..? ఎన్నోసార్లు కాంప్రమైజ్ అవుదామని అనుకున్నా .. ఒక రకమైన ఇబ్బంది.. ఇద్దరు విలన్లు,, రెండు రకాల మనస్తత్వాలు,, ఇద్దరిదీ ఆధిపత్య పోరు.. ఒకరేమో బాస్ ఐతే మరొకరు ఫెమినిస్ట్ ఇద్దరూ ఇద్దరే.. ఒకరిని కాదని మరొకరు,, ఇద్దరి మధ్యలో నేనొక పావును,, ఒకరితో మాట్లాడితే మరొకరికి కోపం.. అసలు నాపాత్రేంటో..? ఏంచేయాలొ అర్థం కావడం లేదు,, ఇద్దరికీ రెపొర్త్ చేయాలట.. ఒకరు మాట్లాడకుండా వేధిస్తే.. మరొకరు అతిగా మాట్లాడి హింసిస్తున్నారు.

ఇలా జరుగుతుందేమిటాని పైవారిని అడిగితే.. వారి నుంచీ నొ ఆన్సర్ .. నేనేం చేయాలో తోచక అఙాతమే శరణ్యమనిపిస్తోంది.. ఎందుకో నా మదిని ఇన్ని ఆవేదనలు..?

తెలుగుకు వెలుగెప్పుడు..?

మొన్న మైదుకూరులో జరిగిన సంఘటన ప్రతీ తెలుగువాడికి గొడ్డలిపెట్టు. అమాయకులైన పసిపిల్లలను ఇబ్బంది పెడుతూ వారిలోపల విషబీజాలు నాటడానికి జరిగిన ప్రయత్నం ప్రతీఒక్కరు ఖండించాల్సిందే. ఐతే.. ఇక్కడ ఒక విషయం గమనించాలి,, ఇటువంటి ఘటనలు ఒక్క కడప జిల్లాలోనే కాదు,, రాష్ట్రంలో దాదాపుగా ప్రతీ చోట ఇదే పరిస్థితి.. అసలు మాతృభాష కాకుండా పరాయి భాషపై వ్యామొహం పెంచుకుని.. అమాయకులైన పసిపిల్లలపై బలవంతంగా పరభాష రుద్దడం వెనుక ఆంతర్యమేమిటో..?

ఏముంది.. ఉద్యోగాల కోసమేనంటారా..? చదువుల వరకే ఆంగ్లం అందిపుచ్చుకొని మిగిలిన సమయంలో తెలుగు భాషా మాధుర్యాన్ని రుచిచూపించవచ్చు కదా..! ఏది ఎమైనా.. రోజులు మారాయి.. తెలుగు నేల మీద నిలబడి రామా అంటే అదేదో వినకూడని మాట విన్నట్టుగా తెలుగు మాట్లాడితే బాధ పడిపోతున్నారు భాష విచ్చిన్నకారులు. అంతెందుకు.. తెలుగులో పదాలన్నీ నేడు వంకర్లు తిరిగిపోతున్నాయి.. అక్షరమాలలొ లు,లూ(క్షమించండి.. ఈ లిపిలో కూడా లు,లూల జాడే లేదు)కనుమరుగైపోయాయి గుఱ్రము కాస్తా గుర్రముగా మారింది. ఋతుపవనాలలో ఋ పోయి రు వచ్చింది. ఋషి కూడా రుషిగా మరిపోయారు.. ఇక ఇప్పుడు రాష్ట్రమంతటా ప్రభంజనం సృష్టిస్తున్న చానెల్స్ చూడాలంటేనే విసుగు వస్తోంది.. ఒకవేళ ఇష్టంగా చూద్దామంటే మనకు వచ్చిన తెలుగుకూడా మాయమైపోతుందేమో..?(యాంకర్లు అలా ఉన్నారు మరి..!) ఇప్పటికే లాటిన్, అరేమియా భాషలు కనుమరుగైపోయాయి.. అదే స్థితి మరో వందేళ్లలో మనభాషకూ వస్తుందేమో..? అందుకే.. తెలుగుతల్లి రోదిస్తోంది.. ప్రతీ తెలుగు అభిమాని హృదయం క్షోభిస్తోంది..

కనీసం..

ఈరోజైనా తెలుగుకు పట్టం కడుదామని.. తెలుగువాకిట తెలుగుభాషా పరిమళాలు వెదజల్లుదామని.. ప్రతీ ఇంటా తెలుగు కుసుమాలు విరబూయిస్తామని.. ప్రతిన బూనుదాం.. చిన్నారులకు ఇళ్లలోనైనా తెలుగు చెప్పేందుకు కృషి చేద్దాం.. కనిపించిన తెలుగువారితో తెలుగులోనే మాట్లాదుదాం.. దేశభాషలందు తెలుగు లెస్స

The languages that are included in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution are referred as the Official Languages. The VIII schedule originally contained 15 languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. By the 71^st Amendment of the Constitution, Konkani, Manipuri and Nepali have been added to the Schedule in 1992.

ASSAMESE

The origin of Assamese dates back to the 13th century. Assamese, together with Bengali and Oriya, form the easternmost group of the New Indo-Aryan languages and they have been derived from Magadhi Apabhramsa, the principal dialect that developed for the Old Eastern Prakrit. The modern Assamese has borrowed several words from Hindustani, Marathi, Gujarati, Arabic, Persian, Portuguese, English and other European languages. Assamese is the state language of Assam and is spoken by nearly 60% of the State's population. It is spoken by 13.07 million people in India i.e. by 1.55% of the total population.

BENGALI

Bengali is one of the major Indo-Aryan languages of India and is the official language of the state of West Bengal. It is spoken by over 204 million people worldwide, but mainly in Bangladesh and India (69 million). The beginnings of Bengali are traceable to the period 1000-1200 AD. Caryapadas or Caryagitis represent the earliest known specimens of Bengali, which were saturated with Sanskrit and Avahattha forms and idioms. During 1500-1800 AD, it absorbed a large number of Persian, Arabic and Turkish words into its vocabulary. Brajabuli was an early poetic form of Bengali.

GUJARATHI

Spoken by more than 43 million people in India and also in several parts of the world like United Kingdom; Fiji; Zimbabwe; Zambia; Uganda; Malawi; Kenya; Singapore; Bangladesh, South Africa and Pakistan, Gujarati is an Indo-Aryan language spoken mainly in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. It is the state language of Gujarat and is spoken by 40.67 million people in India, about 4.81% of the total population of India and 70% of the State's population. It is written in Gujarati script. Gujarati emerged as an independent language around 1000 AD. Its basic vocabulary is derived from Sanskrit and Prakrit. The oldest Gujarati works in the form of Prakrit are described as Sauraseni or Nagara Apabhramsa. The modern Gujarati has incorporated several foreign words from languages like Persian, Arabic, Portuguese and English. Gujarati has several dialects like Standard Gujarati (Saurashtra Standard, Nagari, Bombay Gujarati, Patnuli), Gamadia (Gramya, Surati, Anawla, Brathela, Eastern Broach Gujarati, Charotari, Patidari, Vadodari, Ahmedabad Gamadia, Patani), Parsi, Kathiyawadi (Jhalawadi, Sorathi, Holadi, Gohilwadi, Bhawnagari), Kharwa, Kakari andTarimuki (Ghisadi).

HINDI

Hindi is the official language of the Republic of India and is spoken throughout the Northern India. It is the State language of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Over 457 million people speak Hindi globally, of which the Indian speakers constitute 337.27 million. Hindi uses the Devanagari system of writing. The dialects of Hindi are divided into the Western Hindi and Eastern Hindi groups. Hindustani, Bangaru, Braj Bhasha, Kanauji, Khari-boli and Bundeli are important dialects in the Western Hindi group, while Awadhi is an important dialect of the Eastern Hindi group. Hindi began to take definite shape around 10^th century AD. In its early period of evolution it was greatly influenced by a form of Prakrit called Sauraseni Apabhramsa. In the course of time it assimilated many words from Arabic, Persian, English and other languages.

KANNADA

Kannada is the State language of Karnataka and is spoken by 65% of the state's population. All over India it is spoken by 32.75 million people, constituting 3.87% of the total population. Kannada is a highly cultivated speech belonging to the Dravidian family of languages. Its origin can be traced to the 9^th century AD.

KASHMIRI

Kashmiri is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 55% of the population of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. However, the official language of the state is not Kashmiri but Urdu. It is written in both Persio-Arabic and Devanagari scripts. Bakawali, Bunjwali, Standard Kashmiri(Kashtawari), Kishtwari, Miraski, Poguli, Rambani, Riasi, Shah-Mansuri, Siraji Of Doda, Siraji-Kashmiri, Zayoli and Zirak-Boli are its important dialects.

KONKANI

Konkani, principally based on classical Sanskrit, belongs to the southwestern branch of Indo-Aryan languages. It is spoken in the Konkan region covering Goa and parts of the coastal regions of Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra. Konkani is the official language of the state of Goa. It is very close to Marathi and Hindi. The origin of Konkani language from the historic viewpoint is very interesting. Konkani is believed to have originated from Shouraseni Prakrit like the Assamese and Bengali. Hence some scholars regard Bengali or Assamese as the mother of Konkani language. Other historians argue that it was the language of Aryans who came further south to the Konkan, and hence the name Konkani. Scholars like Katre, Dalgado, Kalelkar, Shenoy Goembab and Cunha-Rivara opine that linguistically Konkani is an independent language, having more affinities with Bengali, Hindi and Gujarati, than with Marathi. Konkani has also been referred to as distinct in Suma Oriental (1513-1515), a travel account of the East including India, by the Portuguese Tome Pires, soon after the conquest of Goa.

The first Konkani inscription was found in 1187 AD. The Jnaneshwari was written in Konkani in 1209 AD and the Konkani Bible was published in 1808 AD. Konkani has many dialects and there are different names for the different dialects. In Vengulra, Sawantavadi, and Ratnagiri, it is mixed with Marathi and is known as Malavani. People of Ratnagiri origin and Konkan Brahmins speak Chitpawani that is influenced by Marathi. The Konkani spoken by Goans is sometimes referred as Gomantaki. The Konkani spoken by Nawayatis of Bhatkal is very melodious with smearing of Persian. In south and north Kanaras, Konkani language was influenced by Kannada, and in Kerala, the Malayalam words were integrated to the language. People of South Kanara do not distinguish between nouns of Kannada and Konkani, and sometimes add Tulu words to Konkani. It has no script of its own but is written in the script of other languages. Early adopters used the Brahmi script, but eventually due to the local influence, Nagari (Devanagari) was used for the benefit of much larger audience. But Kannada, Malayalam and Roman scripts have also been used. Although originally Konkani was the language of Saraswat Brahmins, millions have adopted it as their mother tongue. Sonar (Suvarnakar), Serugar, Mestri, Sutar, Vani, Devali,Siddi, Gabeet, Kharvi, Dalji, Samgar and Nawayati are some of the communities who speak Konkani. It is estimated that about 4 million people speak Konkani in India. Konkani was declared as a National language in 1987.

MALAYALAM

Malayalam is spoken by about 30.37 million people in India, which constitutes 3.59% of the total population. It is the official language of the state of Kerala. Malayalam emerged as an independent language around 10^th century AD. It is the youngest of all the major Dravidian languages. Many scholars believe that Malayalam was derived from Sanskrit. Others, though unsuccessfully, tried to treat it as an offshoot of Tamil in the Middle period. It has several dialects like Malabari, Nagari-Malayalam, South Kerala, Central Kerala, North Kerala, Kayavar, Namboodiri, Moplah, Pulaya, Nasrani and Nayar.

MANIPURI

Manipuri or Meithei is the official language of the State of Manipur and is spoken by about 1.27 million people. It is the most important of the Tibeto-Burman languages and belongs to the Kuki-Chin sub-group. It is written in the Bengali-Assamese script. The oldest Manipuri work isPoireiton Khunthok, which dates back to the third century AD. A great deal of literature has come up in modern Manipuri. Loi, Pangal and Bishnupuriya are its dialects.

MARATHI

Marathi belongs to the Indo-Aryan stock of languages. It is the official language of the state of Maharashtra. It is spoken by 62.48 million people in India, which constitutes about 7.38% of the total population. Marathi is written in Devanagari script. The history of Marathi goes back to about 1000 AD when a Marathi inscription dating 980 AD was found at the foot of the huge monolithic statue of Gomateshwara in Mysore. Later inscriptions such as the edict of King Aparaditya (1183 AD) and the Pandharpur inscription (1273 AD) indicate the use of Old Marathi. Scholars differ about the origin of Marathi. While some believe that it originated from Sanskrit, others contend that it developed from a form of Prakrit called the Maharashtri Apabhramsa and a third group claims that Marathi is of indigenous origin. Goanese, Varhadi, Nagpuri, Ikran and Gowlan are some of its common dialects.

NEPALI

Nepali is the official language of Nepal. It is also one of the official languages of India. It is spoken by nearly 16 million people, out of which 6 million reside in India. In India, it is spoken in parts of West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This Indo-Aryan language has Gorkhali and Palpa as its principal dialects.

ORIYA

Oriya is the official language of the state of Orissa and is spoken by over 87% of its population. It is spoken by about 28 million people in India which is 3.32% of the total population. Oriya is also referred as Utkali, Odri, Vadiya and Yudhia. This Indo-Aryan language was derived from Magadhi Prakrit and its modern form came into existence around the 10^th century AD.Mughalbandi, Southern Oriya, Bhatri, Sambalpuri, Halbi and Koraput Oriya are its important dialects.

PUNJABI

Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language that originated from Apabhramsa of the region. The characteristics of Sanskrit, Prakrit and Apabhramsa can be traced in Punjabi. Although based on the Devanagari script, it is written in a 16th century script called Gurumukhi, created by the Sikh Guru Angad. The language turned literary only around the 15^th century. Majhi, Doab, Bhatyiana, Powadhi, Malwa, Rathi and Dogri are described as the dialects of Punjabi. Some scholars consider Lahndi or Lahnda as the language of Western Punjab, as opposed to the Punjabi proper of the Eastern Punjab. Dr Mohan Singh (1950) mentions that Paisaci, Bhaka, Bhut Bhaka, Avahat and Jatki are the other names of Punjabi. Punjabi is spoken by 23.78 million people in India, which constitutes 2.76% of the total population of the country.

SANSKRIT

Sanskrit is perhaps the oldest of the Indo-Aryan languages and is the parent for many other languages in India. It is one of the National languages of India. It is the literary and liturgical language of India. Several valuable prose, poetry and drama works have been written in Sanskrit. As per the 1991 census it is spoken by about 49,736 people in India.

SINDHI

Sindhi belongs to the Northwest group of the Indo-Aryan family. It is spoken mainly in India (2.1 million) and Pakistan. It is one of the National languages of India. It is generally accepted that Sindhi is of Sanskrit-Prakrit origin. It has absorbed the characteristics of several different languages like Baluchi, Brahui, Pashto, Kashmiri, Multani, Bahawalpuri, Marwari andGujarati. Later, several Hindi, Arabic and Persian words have been added to the vocabulary. In Pakistan, Sindhi is written in the Perso-Arabic script, while in India it uses the Devanagari script In 1851, a committee appointed by Sir Bartle Frere, the then Commissioner of Sind, recommended the use of an artificially derived Arabic-Sindhi script, which is still in vogue today. Bhatia, Jadeji, Kachchhi, Kayasthi, Lari, Lasi, Thareli, Thari, Viccholi and Visholi are the principal dialects of Sindhi.

TAMIL

Tamil is the oldest of all the Dravidian languages (about 2000 years old) and is the official language of the State of Tamil Nadu. It is spoken by over 73 million people worldwide, of which 53 million are in India. Besides India, Tamil is spoken in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Fiji, Myanmar, South Africa and other countries. Its literary history dates back to 600 BC. Dialects:Adi Dravida, Aiyar, Aiyangar, Arava, Burgandi, Kasuva, Kongar, Korava, Korchi, Madrasi, Parikala, Pattapu Bhasha, Tamil, Sri Lanka Tamil, Malaya Tamil, Burma Tamil, South Africa Tamil, Tigalu, Harijan, Sanketi, Hebbar, Mandyam Brahmin andSecunderabad Brahmin. Kasuva is a jungle tribal dialect. Aiyar and Aiyangar are Brahmin dialects.

TELUGU

It is popularly believed that the word telugu and its older forms telungu and tenugu, were derived from the word trilinga or trikalinga i.e. from the three temples at Srisailam, Drakasharamam and Kaleshwaram. However, not many scholars accept this view. Some consider that it is derived from the word talaing. Marepalli Ramachandra Shastri says " In Gondi language, unga is a form for plural; telu means white. Hence, telunga probably refers to people who are white in complexion". Another scholar Ganti Jogi Somayaji says that ten refers to south in Proto-Dravidian. Hence tenungu refers to Southerners.

Telugu is also known as Andhra-bhasa or the language of the Andhras, denoting tribes found on the south of the Vindhya Mountains. During 220 AD the word Andhrapathamu was used in the inscriptions in Ballari district. The language spoken by Andhras was given the name Andhra Bhasha. Different tribes used to speak different dialects. The tribes of Andhra such as Dravida, Yaksha and Naga spoke "Telugu" or "Tenugu". Andhras from North India used to speak another language called "Desi". During the first phase of the evolution of Telugu, we only come across names of places and personal names of Telugu in Prakrit and Sanskrit inscriptions found in the Telugu country. Telugu was exposed to the influence of Prakrit as early as the 3rd century BC. The Nagarjuna Hill inscriptions of 250 AD contain some Telugu words. The first complete Telugu inscription belongs to the Renati Cholas, found in Erragudipadu, Kamalapuram taluk of Cuddapah district and assigned to about 575 AD. Telugu was exposed to the influence of Sanskrit about this period. The modern standard Telugu that is in use today, thus, had its beginnings in the spoken variety, right from the 10th century AD. The language was progressively enriched by contact with Sanskrit, Prakrit, Urdu and English from the ancient times.

Telugu is the most widely spoken language of the Dravidian family. In India, Telugu is spoken by over 66 million, which forms 7.8% of the total population of the country. Globally, it is spoken by over 75 million people. It has also spread to the other parts of the globe like Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Fiji South Africa and the USA. Dialects: Berad, Dasari, Dommara, Golari, Kamathi, Komtao, Konda-Reddi, Salewari, Telangana, Telugu, Vadaga, Vadari, Srikakula, Vishakapatnam, East Godaveri,Rayalseema, Nellore and Guntur.

URDU URDU

Urdu is the state language of Jammu and Kashmir, the second official language of Bihar and it also enjoys the status of second language in a few districts of Andhra Pradesh in India. Urdu evolved along with Hindi in the capital of India, Delhi. It is spoken by 43.5 million persons in India, which is 5.13% of the population. Urdu is the language adopted by a considerable number of Muslims in India. It had its beginnings in the 12th and the 13th centuries AD. It started first as a literary language of the Deccan in the 15th and 16th centuries and then established itself as an important language of northern India in the 18th century. Urdu, like Hindi, originated from theKhari Boli speech of Delhi and the surrounding areas. Urdu is written in the Persio-Arabic script and contains many words from the Persian language. Urdu has been known by different names at different points of time in different parts of India e.g. Hindvi, Hindi, Dehlvi, Gujri, Zaban-e-Hindustan, Deccani, Rekhta, Zaban-e-Urdu-e-Mualla and Urdu.

Thousand Piller Temple .. situated in Warangal district in Andhrapradesh, India which is A Historical , traditional and devotional Centre. Now it looks so bad, because of the careless. Who are the responsible for the temple destroyment either people or government. Whatever it may be now it has no look.

Only the visitors and tourists who coming to see the temple are standing before the main temple and enjoys its beauty without kalyanamandapa. It destroyed in 2005 from that day there is no developments in the structural foundation. High density and extraordinary sculpture fall in down.Archeological Survey of India should protect the monument but there is no response for the people who are working there as supervisors. and the present situation is to tell to media that work in progress. As per the warangal people analysis there is no development in renovation. On the name of renovation a beautiful structure was destroyed due to regional and personal obligations of some people. Who can save the monument in future?..

UGADI

The New year festival or Ugadi comes close on the heels of Holi. While the strong colors of Holi start fading away, the freshness of spring lingers on with sprightliness all around. The flame of the forest (trees with bright red flowers that blossom during holi) are in full bloom signifying an affluent season.It is believed that the creator of the Hindu pantheon Lord Brahma started creation on this day - Chaitra suddha padhyami or the Ugadi day. Also the great Indian Mathematician Bhaskaracharya's calculations proclaimed the Ugadi day from the sunrise on as the beginning of the new year, new month and new day. The onset of spring also marks a beginning of new life with plants (barren until now) acquiring new life, shoots and leaves. Spring is considered the first season of the year hence also heralding a new year and a new beginning. The vibrancy of life and verdent fields, meadows full of colorful blossoms signifies growth, prosperity and well-being.
With the coming of Ugadi, the naturally perfumed jasmines (mallepulu) spread a sweet fragrance which is perhaps unmatched by any other in nature's own creation! While large garlands of jasmine are offered to Gods in homes and temples, jasmine flowers woven in clusters adorn the braids of women.
Predictions of the Year :Ugadi marks the beginning of a new Hindu lunar calendar with a change in the moon's orbit. It is a day when mantras are chanted and predictions made for the new year. Traditionally, the panchangasravanam or listening to the yearly calendar was done at the temples or at the Town square but with the onset of modern technology, one can get to hear the priest-scholar on television sets right in one's living room.
It is a season for raw mangoes spreading its aroma in the air and the fully blossomed neem tree that makes the air healthy. Also, jaggery made with fresh crop of sugarcane adds a renewed flavor to the typical dishes associated with Ugadi. "Ugadi pachchadi" is one such dish that has become synonymous with Ugadi. It is made of new jaggery, raw mango pieces and neem flowers and new tanarind which truly reflect life - a combination of sweet, sour and bitter tastes!
Preparing for the Occasion :Preparations for the festival begin a week ahead. Houses are given a thorough wash. Shopping for new clothes and buying other items that go with the requirements of the festival are done with a lot of excitement.
Ugadi is celebrated with festive fervor in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. While it is called Ugadi in A.P. and Karnataka, in Maharashtra it is known as "Gudipadava". On Ugadi day, people wake up before the break of dawn and take a head bath after which they decorate the entrance of their houses with fresh mango leaves. The significance of tying mango leaves relates to a legend. It is said that Kartik (or Subramanya or Kumara Swamy) and Ganesha, the two sons of Lord Siva and Parvathi were very fond of mangoes. As the legend goes Kartik exhorted people to tie green mango leaves to the doorway signifying a good crop and general well-being.
It is noteworthy that we use mango leaves and coconuts (as in a Kalasam, to initiate any pooja) only on auspicious occasions to propitiate gods. People also splash fresh cow dung water on the ground in front of their house and draw colorful floral designs. This is a common sight in every household. People perform the ritualistic worship to God invoking his blessings before they start off with the new year. They pray for their health, wealth and prosperity and success in business too. Ugadi is also the most auspicious time to start new ventures.
The celebration of Ugadi is marked by religious zeal and social merriment. Special dishes are prepared for the occasion. In Andhra Pradesh, eatables such as "pulihora", "bobbatlu" and preparations made with raw mango go well with the occasion. In Karnataka too, similar preparations are made but called "puliogure" and "holige". The Maharashtrians make "puran poli" or sweet rotis.

Season For Pickles :With the raw mango available in abundance only during the two months (of April/May), people in Andhra Pradesh make good use of mangoes to last them until the next season. They pickle the mangoes with salt, powdered mustard and powdered dry red chilli and a lot of oil to float over the mangoes. This preparation is called "avakai" and lasts for a whole year.
Mangoes and summer season go hand in hand. Ugadi thus marks the beginning of the hot season which coincides with the school vacations. For the young ones, therefore, Ugadi is characterised by new clothes, sumptuous food and revelling. The air is filled with joy, enthusiasm and gaiety. Some people participate in social community gatherings and enjoy a tranquil evening with devotional songs (bhajans).
Kavi Sammelanam :Kavi Sammelanam (poetry recitation) is a typical Telugu Ugadi feature. Ugadi is also a time when people look forward to a literary feast in the form of Kavi Sammelanam. Many poets come up with new poems written on subjects ranging - from Ugadi - to politics to modern trends and lifestyles.
Ugadi Kavi Sammelanam is also a launch pad for new and budding poets. It is generally carried live on All India Radio's Hyderabad "A" station and the Doordarshan,(TV) Hyderabad following "panchanga sravanam" (New year calendar) narrating the way the new year would shape up in the lives of people and the State in general. Kavis (poets) of many hues - political, comic, satirical reformist, literary and melancholic - make an appearance on the Ugadi stage. Ugadi is thus a festival of many shades. It ushers in the new year, brings a rich bounce of flora and fills the hearts of people with joy and contentment.

"మానవుడు తన మంచి చెడ్డలకు తానేబాధ్యుడు. మానవ సంఘానికి తన పరిస్థితి తానూ చక్కదిద్దుకునే శక్తి ఉన్నాసామజిక చైతన్యం లేదు. అటువంటి చైతన్యం అందించడం కవిత్వం చేయాల్సిన పని " అంటూ జనం బాధలను తన బాధగా ప్రకటించిన మహాకవి శ్రీశ్రీ.తన ప్రతీ రచనలో కష్టాలకు క్రుంగిపోకుండా కదం తొక్కుతూ పదం పాడుతూ ముందుకు సాగామన్నాడు. ప్రాణత్యాగానికి సైతం వెనుకాడకుండా దారిపొడుగునా గుండె నెత్తురులు తర్పణ చేస్తూ సాగమని ధైర్యాన్ని నూరిపోసాడు . ప్రభంజనంలోని ఉధృతి, భావంలోని వేగం, నయాగరా జలపాతంలోని చైతన్యంతో ముందుకురకమని మరో ప్రపంచం వైపు మహాప్రస్థానాన్ని సాగించాలని బోధించాడు. పీడితులకు చైతన్యాన్నిచ్చి ముందుకు నడిపించే రచనా వ్యాసంగం శ్రీశ్రీది.

అంతరించిపోతున్న భాషలు

ఆర్ధిక ప్రపంచీకరణతో పాటు ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా సాంస్కృతిక ప్రపంచీకరణ వల్ల అనేక భాషలు అంతరించిపోతున్నై. ఒక భాష మృత భాషగా మారితే దానితో పాటు అనేక అభౌతిక సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వ సంపద కూడా అదృశ్యమై పోతాయని యునెస్కో నివేదిక తెలిపింది. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా 6900 భాషలు ఉండగా వాటిలో 2500కు పైగా భాషలు అంతరించిపోతున్నాయి. వీటిలో 196 భాషలు భారతీయ భాషలు. ఆ తర్వాత 192 భాషలతో అమెరికా , 147 భాషలతో ఇండోనేసియా మూడొ స్థానంలో ఉంది. మొత్తం భాషల్లో మూడొ వంతూ సబ్ సహారా ప్రాంతంలో ఉండగా వాటిలో 10 శాతం రానున్న శతాబ్దకాలంలో అంతరించిపోతాయని, ఆర్ధిక పరిస్థితులను బట్టి భాషల అంతర్దానంలో వ్యత్యాసం ఉన్నట్లు ఆ నివేదికలో పేర్కొన్నారు.

మన దేశంలో అత్యున్నత పౌర పురస్కారం భారతరత్న. కళలు, సాహిత్యం,వైఙానిక,రాజకీయ, ప్రజాసేవారంగాల్లో విశిష్ట కృషి చేసినవారికి ఈపురస్కారం అందిస్తారు.1954 జనవరిలో ఈ పురస్కారం ప్రారంభించినపుడు మరణానంతరం అందించే ఉద్దేశ్యం లేదు. అందుకే మహాత్మా గాంధికి భారతరత్న ఇవ్వలేదంటారు.1965 జనవరి నుంచి మరణానంతరం కూడా వీటిని ప్రకటించడం ప్రారంభించారు..ఇప్పటికి 42 మంది ఈ పురస్కారం పొందారు.10 మందికి మరణానంతరం ఇచ్చారు. ఈ కోవలోనే 1992లో సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ కు ఇచ్చినా సాంకేతికపరమైన సమస్యలు తలెత్తడంతో వెనక్కు తీసుకున్నారు.భారతరత్న గ్రహీతలు పుట్టుకతో భారతీయులై ఉండి ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.విదేశాల్లో పుట్టినా భారతదేశం లో ఉండి ఆతర్వాత భారత పౌరసత్వం తీసుకున్న మదర్థెరిసాకు 1980 లో ఈ పురస్కారం లభించింది.ఆతర్వాత ఇద్దరు భారతీయేతరులకు 1987 లో ఖాన్ అబ్దుల్ గఫార్ ఖాన్, 1990లో నెల్సన్ మండేలాకు భారతరత్న లభించింది.

ఇటువంటి ప్రభుత్వ పురస్కారాలకు ఉన్న రాజ్యాంగ బద్ధతపై అనేకసార్లు న్యాయస్థానాల్లో వ్యాజ్యాలు తలెత్తాయి.1954లో పొందుపరిచిన నియమనిబంధనల ప్రకారం భారతరత్న గ్రహీతకు స్వర్ణపతకం ఇస్తారు. ఆ పతకంపై సూర్యుడి బొమ్మ, హిందిలో భారతరత్న అనే మాటలు, పతకం వెనుక ప్రభుత్వచిహ్నం , సత్యమేవజయతే సూక్తి ఉంటాయి. 1957 జనవరి 26 నుంచి నిబంధనలను మార్చారు. పతకాన్ని రావి ఆకు రూపంలో అలంకరించాలి. దీనిని రూపొందించేందుకు కాంస్యాన్ని ఉపయోగించాలి. పతకం వెనుక ఉండే ప్రభుత్వ చిహ్నం, సూర్యుడి చిత్రాలను ప్లాటినంతో చేయాలి.

భారతరత్నను ప్రదానం చేసిన తర్వాత ఎప్పుడైనా రద్దు చేసే అధికారం రాష్ట్రపతికి ఉంటుంది. అప్పుడు గ్రహీత పతకం తదితరాలను వాపసు చేయాలి. భారతరత్న అందుకున్న వారి పేర్లతో ఒక రిజిస్టర్ నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు.
